Telephonic talks between Rajnath Singh, US counterpart not to be held today

New Delhi [India], June 30 (ANI): The scheduled telephonic talks between Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and his American counterpart Mark Esper is not going to be held on Tuesday, Defence Ministry officers stated.

It’s being rescheduled for a later date, as per officers.
In the meantime, the third spherical of Corps Commander-level talks between India and China to debate and diffuse the strain over the continued dispute alongside the LAC in Japanese Ladakh is being held, sources stated.
The primary two rounds had taken place in Moldo on the Chinese language facet of the LAC. Within the second spherical of Corps Commander-level talks held on June 22, either side reached a mutual consensus to disengage within the Japanese Ladakh sector, Military sources stated.
India and China have been concerned in talks to ease the continued border tensions since final month. Twenty Indian troopers misplaced their lives in a violent face-off within the Galwan Valley on June 15-16 after an try by the Chinese language troops to unilaterally change the established order throughout the de-escalation.
