New Delhi [India], August 1 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Get together (BJP) chief Jagat Prakash Nadda on Saturday mentioned that three extra states — Manipur, Nagaland, Uttarakhand — together with the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir have joined the ‘One Nation One Ration Card’ scheme of the Union authorities.
Taking to Twitter, Nadda congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister of Meals & Public Distribution Ram Vilas Paswan for the transfer.
“Congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji and Ram Vilas Paswan Ji as three extra states, Manipur, Nagaland and Uttrakhand and Union Territory Jammu and Kashmir additionally joined the ‘One Nation One Ration Card’. This ensures meals safety to 65 Crore folks in 24 States with the intention to cowl the entire nation by 31st March 2021,” he tweeted.
Earlier on January 1, Paswan had mentioned that this facility had been began in 12 states within the nation on the primary day of the New 12 months. On January 21, the federal government introduced that the scheme can be applied by June 1 throughout the nation. (ANI)
